Proverbs箴言-21

21:1	[hb5]	王的心在耶和華手中、好像隴溝的水、隨意流轉。
	[kjv]	The king's heart is in the hand of the LORD, as the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will.
	[bbe]	The king's heart in the hands of the Lord is like the water streams, and by him it is turned in any direction at his pleasure.
21:2	[hb5]	人所行的、在自己眼中都看為正．惟有耶和華衡量人心。
	[kjv]	Every way of a man is right in his own eyes: but the LORD pondereth the hearts.
	[bbe]	Every way of a man seems right to himself, but the Lord is the tester of hearts.
21:3	[hb5]	行仁義公平、比獻祭更蒙耶和華悅納。
	[kjv]	To do justice and judgment is more acceptable to the LORD than sacrifice.
	[bbe]	To do what is right and true is more pleasing to the Lord than an offering.
21:4	[hb5]	惡人發達、眼高心傲、這乃是罪．〔發達原文作燈〕
	[kjv]	An high look, and a proud heart, and the plowing of the wicked, is sin.
	[bbe]	A high look and a heart of pride, *** of the evil-doer is sin.
21:5	[hb5]	殷勤籌劃的、足致豐裕．行事急躁的、都必缺乏。
	[kjv]	The thoughts of the diligent tend only to plenteousness; but of every one that is hasty only to want.
	[bbe]	The purposes of the man of industry have their outcome only in wealth; but one who is over-quick in acting will only come to be in need.
21:6	[hb5]	用詭詐之舌求財的、就是自己取死．所得之財、乃是吹來吹去的浮雲。
	[kjv]	The getting of treasures by a lying tongue is a vanity tossed to and fro of them that seek death.
	[bbe]	He who gets stores of wealth by a false tongue, is going after what is only breath, and searching for death.
21:7	[hb5]	惡人的強暴必將自己掃除．因他們不肯按公平行事。
	[kjv]	The robbery of the wicked shall destroy them; because they refuse to do judgment.
	[bbe]	By their violent acts the evil-doers will be pulled away, because they have no desire to do what is right.
21:8	[hb5]	負罪之人的路甚是彎曲．至於清潔的人、他所行的乃是正直。
	[kjv]	The way of man is froward and strange: but as for the pure, his work is right.
	[bbe]	Twisted is the way of him who is full of crime; but as for him whose heart is clean, his work is upright.
21:9	[hb5]	寧可住在房頂的角上、不在寬闊的房屋、與爭吵的婦人同住。
	[kjv]	It is better to dwell in a corner of the housetop, than with a brawling woman in a wide house.
	[bbe]	It is better to be living in an angle of the house-top, than with a bitter-tongued woman in a wide house.
21:10	[hb5]	惡人的心、樂人受禍．他眼並不憐恤鄰舍。
	[kjv]	The soul of the wicked desireth evil: his neighbour findeth no favour in his eyes.
	[bbe]	The desire of the evil-doer is fixed on evil: he has no kind feeling for his neighbour.
21:11	[hb5]	褻慢的人受刑罰、愚蒙的人就得智慧．智慧人受訓誨、便得知識。
	[kjv]	When the scorner is punished, the simple is made wise: and when the wise is instructed, he receiveth knowledge.
	[bbe]	When the man of pride undergoes punishment, the simple man gets wisdom; and by watching the wise he gets knowledge.
21:12	[hb5]	義人思想惡人的家、知道惡人傾倒、必至滅亡。
	[kjv]	The righteous man wisely considereth the house of the wicked: but God overthroweth the wicked for their wickedness.
	[bbe]	The Upright One, looking on the house of the evil-doer, lets sinners be overturned to their destruction.
21:13	[hb5]	塞耳不聽窮人哀求的、他將來呼籲也不蒙應允。
	[kjv]	Whoso stoppeth his ears at the cry of the poor, he also shall cry himself, but shall not be heard.
	[bbe]	He whose ears are stopped at the cry of the poor, will himself get no answer to his cry for help.
21:14	[hb5]	暗中送的禮物、挽回怒氣．懷中搋的賄賂、止息暴怒。
	[kjv]	A gift in secret pacifieth anger: and a reward in the bosom strong wrath.
	[bbe]	By a secret offering wrath is turned away, and the heat of angry feelings by money in the folds of the robe.
21:15	[hb5]	秉公行義、使義人喜樂、使作孽的人敗壞。
	[kjv]	It is joy to the just to do judgment: but destruction shall be to the workers of iniquity.
	[bbe]	It is a joy to the good man to do right, but it is destruction to the workers of evil.
21:16	[hb5]	迷離通達道路的、必住在陰魂的會中。
	[kjv]	The man that wandereth out of the way of understanding shall remain in the congregation of the dead.
	[bbe]	The wanderer from the way of knowledge will have his resting-place among the shades.
21:17	[hb5]	愛宴樂的、必致窮乏．好酒愛膏油的、必不富足。
	[kjv]	He that loveth pleasure shall be a poor man: he that loveth wine and oil shall not be rich.
	[bbe]	The lover of pleasure will be a poor man: the lover of wine and oil will not get wealth.
21:18	[hb5]	惡人作了義人的贖價．奸詐人代替正直人。
	[kjv]	The wicked shall be a ransom for the righteous, and the transgressor for the upright.
	[bbe]	The evil-doer will be given as a price for the life of the good man, and the worker of deceit in the place of the upright.
21:19	[hb5]	寧可住在曠野、不與爭吵使氣的婦人同住。
	[kjv]	It is better to dwell in the wilderness, than with a contentious and an angry woman.
	[bbe]	It is better to be living in a waste land, than with a bitter-tongued and angry woman.
21:20	[hb5]	智慧人家中積蓄寶物膏油．愚昧人隨得來隨吞下。
	[kjv]	There is treasure to be desired and oil in the dwelling of the wise; but a foolish man spendeth it up.
	[bbe]	There is a store of great value in the house of the wise, but it is wasted by the foolish man.
21:21	[hb5]	追求公義仁慈的、就尋得生命、公義、和尊榮。
	[kjv]	He that followeth after righteousness and mercy findeth life, righteousness, and honour.
	[bbe]	He who goes after righteousness and mercy will get life, righteousness, and honour.
21:22	[hb5]	智慧人爬上勇士的城牆、傾覆他所倚靠的堅壘。
	[kjv]	A wise man scaleth the city of the mighty, and casteth down the strength of the confidence thereof.
	[bbe]	A wise man goes up into the town of the strong ones, and overcomes its strength in which they put their faith.
21:23	[hb5]	謹守口與舌的、就保守自己免受災難。
	[kjv]	Whoso keepeth his mouth and his tongue keepeth his soul from troubles.
	[bbe]	He who keeps watch over his mouth and his tongue keeps his soul from troubles.
21:24	[hb5]	心驕氣傲的人、名叫褻慢．他行事狂妄、都出於驕傲。
	[kjv]	Proud and haughty scorner is his name, who dealeth in proud wrath.
	[bbe]	The man of pride, lifted up in soul, is named high-hearted; he is acting in an outburst of pride.
21:25	[hb5]	懶惰人的心願、將他殺害、因為他手不肯作工。
	[kjv]	The desire of the slothful killeth him; for his hands refuse to labour.
	[bbe]	The desire of the hater of work is death to him, for his hands will do no work.
21:26	[hb5]	有終日貪得無饜的．義人施捨而不吝惜。
	[kjv]	He coveteth greedily all the day long: but the righteous giveth and spareth not.
	[bbe]	All the day the sinner goes after his desire: but the upright man gives freely, keeping nothing back.
21:27	[hb5]	惡人的祭物是可憎的、何況他存惡意來獻呢。
	[kjv]	The sacrifice of the wicked is abomination: how much more, when he bringeth it with a wicked mind?
	[bbe]	The offering of evil-doers is disgusting: how much more when they give it with an evil purpose!
21:28	[hb5]	作假見證的必滅亡．惟有聽真情而言的、其言長存。
	[kjv]	A false witness shall perish: but the man that heareth speaketh constantly.
	[bbe]	A false witness will be cut off, ...
21:29	[hb5]	惡人臉無羞恥．正直人行事堅定。
	[kjv]	A wicked man hardeneth his face: but as for the upright, he directeth his way.
	[bbe]	The evil-doer makes his face hard, but as for the upright, he gives thought to his way.
21:30	[hb5]	沒有人能以智慧、聰明、謀略、敵擋耶和華。
	[kjv]	There is no wisdom nor understanding nor counsel against the LORD.
	[bbe]	Wisdom and knowledge and wise suggestions are of no use against the Lord.
21:31	[hb5]	馬是為打仗之日預備的．得勝乃在乎耶和華。
	[kjv]	The horse is prepared against the day of battle: but safety is of the LORD.
	[bbe]	The horse is made ready for the day of war, but power to overcome is from the Lord.
