The vice minister went on to say that the state-owned gasoline supplier CPC Corp. has already filled its pipelines with nitrogen to ensure that they contain is no residual propene.

The Kaohsiung City Government demanded that private petrochemical firm LCY Chemical Corp. (李長榮化學工業) check whether there is any propene remaining in its pipelines, Duh said, adding that the Central Emergency Operation Center also requested that CPC assist LCY to ensure that all propene has been removed.

Aside from the pipelines, Duh said the Environmental Protection Administration has dispatched personnel to Kaohsiung to assist the local government with air pollution monitoring.

When asked if any local petrochemical companies have been fined by the government over the gas explosions, Duh said the issue is under the Kaohsiung City Government's jurisdiction.

台北，台灣 - 經濟部副部長咄Tyzz - 君（杜紫軍）昨天告訴在台北的記者招待會上說，260噸丙烯是留在中國石油化學工業開發股份有限公司的管道（CPDC，中石化）在高雄都會放空完全被今天上午在最新的。

杜說，他將邀請國內外專家和40名當地石化企業參​​加的會議上週一下午確認的港口城市地下管線圖。

解釋發洩260​​噸丙烯的措施，咄表示，將丙烯從輸入點被提取，並且還將從輸出點放空，然後由氣體耀斑處理 - 氣體燃燒裝置。咄進一步說，氮氣將投入管道，以確保所有的丙烯已被刪除。
