14:1	[hb5]	安息日、耶穌到一個法利賽人的首領家裏去吃飯、他們就窺探他。
		[lb5]	安息日耶穌到進了一個做議員的法利賽人家里要吃飯﹔人們直窺探著他。
		[nb5]	在安息日，耶穌進了一個法利賽人領袖的家裡吃飯，眾人都在窺探他。
		[asv]	And it came to pass, when he went into the house of one of the rulers of the Pharisees on a sabbath to eat bread, that they were watching him.
		[kjv]	And it came to pass, as he went into the house of one of the chief Pharisees to eat bread on the sabbath day, that they watched him.
		[bbe]	And it came about that when he went into the house of one of the chief Pharisees on the Sabbath, to have a meal, they were watching him.
	14:2	[hb5]	在他面前有一個患水臌的人。
		[lb5]	剛巧在他面前有一個患水臌病的人。
		[nb5]	正好在他面前有一個患水臌病的人；
		[asv]	And behold, there was before him a certain man that had the dropsy.
		[kjv]	And, behold, there was a certain man before him which had the dropsy.
		[bbe]	And a certain man was there who had a disease.
	14:3	[hb5]	耶穌對律法師和法利賽人說、安息日治病、可以不可以．
		[lb5]	耶穌應時對律法師和法利賽人說︰「安息日治病可以不可以？」
		[nb5]	耶穌對律法師和法利賽人說：“在安息日治病，可以不可以呢？”
		[asv]	And Jesus answering spake unto the lawyers and Pharisees, saying, Is it lawful to heal on the sabbath, or not?
		[kjv]	And Jesus answering spake unto the lawyers and Pharisees, saying, Is it lawful to heal on the sabbath day?
		[bbe]	And Jesus, answering, said to the scribes and Pharisees, Is it right to make people well on the Sabbath or not?
	14:4	[hb5]	他們卻不言語。耶穌就治好那人、叫他走了．
		[lb5]	他們都不言語。耶穌就拉著那人，醫治他，給打發走了。
		[nb5]	他們卻不出聲。耶穌扶著病人，治好他，叫他走了，
		[asv]	But they held their peace. And he took him, and healed him, and let him go.

		[bbe]	But they said nothing. And he made him well and sent him away.
	14:5	[hb5]	便對他們說、你們中間誰有驢或有牛、在安息日掉在井裏、不立時拉牠上來呢。
		[lb5]	便對他們說︰「你們中間誰有驢（有古卷作︰『兒子』或『小羊』）或牛跌在井（或譯︰坑）里，在安息之日不立刻把他拉上來呢？」
		[nb5]	就對他們說：“你們中間誰的兒子或牛在安息日掉在井裡，不立刻把他拉上來呢？”
		[asv]	And he said unto them, Which of you shall have an ass or an ox fallen into a well, and will not straightway draw him up on a sabbath day?
		[kjv]	And answered them, saying, Which of you shall have an ass or an ox fallen into a pit, and will not straightway pull him out on the sabbath day?
		[bbe]	And he said to them, Which of you, whose ox or ass has got into a water-hole, will not straight away get him out on the Sabbath?
	14:6	[hb5]	他們不能對答這話。
		[lb5]	他們不能回答這些話。
		[nb5]	他們不能回答這些話。
		[asv]	And they could not answer again unto these things.
		[kjv]	And they could not answer him again to these things.
		[bbe]	And they had no answer to that question.
	14:7	[hb5]	耶穌見所請的客揀擇首位、就用比喻對他們說、
		[lb5]	耶穌注意看被請的人怎樣揀著首位，就對他們講一個比喻說︰
		[nb5]	耶穌看見被邀請的客人選擇高位，就用比喻對他們說：
		[asv]	And he spake a parable unto those that were bidden, when he marked how they chose out the chief seats; saying unto them,
		[kjv]	And he put forth a parable to those which were bidden, when he marked how they chose out the chief rooms; saying unto them,
		[bbe]	And he gave teaching in the form of a story to the guests who came to the feast, when he saw how they took the best seats; saying to them,
	14:8	[hb5]	你被人請去赴婚姻的筵席、不要坐在首位上．恐怕有比你尊貴的客、被他請來．
		[lb5]	「你被人請去赴婚筵，不要坐在首位上。恐怕有比你尊貴的被他請來﹔
		[nb5]	“你被邀請參加婚筵的時候，不要自己坐在高位上，恐怕有比你更尊貴的客人也被請來；
		[asv]	When thou art bidden of any man to a marriage feast, sit not down in the chief seat; lest haply a more honorable man than thou be bidden of him,
		[kjv]	When thou art bidden of any man to a wedding, sit not down in the highest room; lest a more honourable man than thou be bidden of him;
		[bbe]	When you get a request to come to a feast, do not take the best seat, for a more important man than you may be coming,
	14:9	[hb5]	那請你們的人前來對你說、讓座給這一位吧．你就羞羞慚慚的退到末位上去了。
		[lb5]	那請你也請他的會來對你說︰『請把位子讓給這一位吧』﹔那時你就會羞慚慚地去取末位了。
		[nb5]	那請你又請他的人過來對你說：‘請你讓位給這個人。’那時你就慚愧地退居末位了。
		[asv]	and he that bade thee and him shall come and say to thee, Give this man place; and then thou shalt begin with shame to take the lowest place.
		[kjv]	And he that bade thee and him come and say to thee, Give this man place; and thou begin with shame to take the lowest room.
		[bbe]	And then the giver of the feast will come to you and say, Give your place to this man; and you, with shame, will have to take the lowest seat.
	14:10	[hb5]	你被請的時候、就去坐在末位上、好叫那請你的人來、對你說、朋友、請上坐．那時你在同席的人面前、就有光彩了。
		[lb5]	不，你被請的時候、要去坐末位﹔這樣，那請你的人來的時候、好對說︰『朋友，請上頭坐吧』。那時你在一同坐席的眾人面前就有光榮了。
		[nb5]	你被邀請的時候，要坐在末位上，等請你的人過來對你說：‘朋友，請上座。’那時你在同席的人面前才有光彩。
		[asv]	But when thou art bidden, go and sit down in the lowest place; that when he that hath bidden thee cometh, he may say to thee, Friend, go up higher: then shalt thou have glory in the presence of all that sit at meat with thee.
		[kjv]	But when thou art bidden, go and sit down in the lowest room; that when he that bade thee cometh, he may say unto thee, Friend, go up higher: then shalt thou have worship in the presence of them that sit at meat with thee.
		[bbe]	But when you come, go and take the lowest seat, so that when the giver of the feast comes, he may say to you, Friend, come up higher; and then you will have honour in the eyes of all the others who are there.
	14:11	[hb5]	因為凡自高的必降為卑．自卑的必升為高。
		[lb5]	因為凡自高的必被降卑﹔自己謙卑的必被升高。」
		[nb5]	因為凡高抬自己的，必要降卑；自己謙卑的，必要升高。”
		[asv]	For everyone that exalteth himself shall be humbled; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.
		[kjv]	For whosoever exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.
		[bbe]	For every man who gives himself a high place will be put down, but he who takes a low place will be lifted up.
	14:12	[hb5]	耶穌又對請他的人說、你擺設午飯、或晚飯、不要請你的朋友、弟兄、親屬、和富足的鄰舍．恐怕他們也請你、你就得了報答。
		[lb5]	耶穌也對那請他的人說︰「你辦午飯或晚飯的時候，不要邀請你的朋友、或弟兄、或親戚、或富足的鄰舍﹔恐怕他們也回請你，報答你。
		[nb5]	耶穌又對邀請他的人說：“你設午餐或晚宴，不要請你的朋友、弟兄、親戚或富裕的鄰舍，恐怕他又回請你，你就得了報答。
		[asv]	And he said to him also that had bidden him, When thou makest a dinner or a supper, call not thy friends, nor thy brethren, nor thy kinsmen, nor rich neighbors; lest haply they also bid thee again, and a recompense be made thee.
		[kjv]	Then said he also to him that bade him, When thou makest a dinner or a supper, call not thy friends, nor thy brethren, neither thy kinsmen, nor thy rich neighbours; lest they also bid thee again, and a recompence be made thee.
		[bbe]	And he said to the master of the house, When you give a feast, do not send for your friends and your brothers and your family or your neighbours who have wealth, for they may give a feast for you, and so you will get a reward.
	14:13	[hb5]	你擺設筵席、倒要請那貧窮的、殘廢的、瘸腿的、瞎眼的、你就有福了．
		[lb5]	不，你辦迎賓的時候，要請討飯的、殘廢的、瘸腿的、眼瞎的，你就有福了。
		[nb5]	你擺筵席的時候，總要邀請那貧窮的、殘廢的、瘸腿的、瞎眼的，
		[asv]	But when thou makest a feast, bid the poor, the maimed, the lame, the blind:
		[kjv]	But when thou makest a feast, call the poor, the maimed, the lame, the blind:
		[bbe]	But when you give a feast, send for the poor and the blind and those who are broken in body:
	14:14	[hb5]	因為他們沒有甚麼可報答你．到義人復活的時候、你要得著報答。
		[lb5]	因為他們沒有什么可報答你﹔在義人的復活生活中，你就會得著報答了。」
		[nb5]	那你就有福了。因為他們沒有甚麼可以報答你，義人復活的時候，你必定得著報答。”
		[asv]	and thou shalt be blessed; because they have not [wherewith] to recompense thee: for thou shalt be recompensed in the resurrection of the just.
		[kjv]	And thou shalt be blessed; for they cannot recompense thee: for thou shalt be recompensed at the resurrection of the just.
		[bbe]	And you will have a blessing, because they will not be able to give you any payment, and you will get your reward when the upright come back from the dead.
	14:15	[hb5]	同席的有一人聽見這話、就對耶穌說、在　神國裏吃飯的有福了。
		[lb5]	一同坐席的有一個人聽了這些話，就對耶穌說︰「在上帝國里吃飯的有福阿！」
		[nb5]	一起吃飯的人中有一個，聽了這些話，就對耶穌說：“在　神的國裡吃飯的人有福了。”
		[asv]	And when one of them that sat at meat with him heard these things, he said unto him, Blessed is he that shall eat bread in the kingdom of God.

		[bbe]	And, hearing these words, one of those who were at table with him said to him, Happy is the man who will be a guest in the kingdom of God.
	14:16	[hb5]	耶穌對他說、有一人擺設大筵席、請了許多客．
		[lb5]	耶穌對他說︰「有一個人辦大筵席，請了許多人。
		[nb5]	耶穌對他說：“有一個人大擺筵席，請了許多客人。
		[asv]	But he said unto him, A certain man made a great supper; and he bade many:
		[kjv]	Then said he unto him, A certain man made a great supper, and bade many:
		[bbe]	And he said to them, A certain man gave a great feast, and sent word of it to a number of people.
	14:17	[hb5]	到了坐席的時候、打發僕人去對所請的人說、請來吧．樣樣都齊備了。
		[lb5]	到了筵席的鐘點，就差遣他的仆人去對被請的人說︰『請來吧，已齊備了』。
		[nb5]	到了開席的時候，他打發僕人去對所請的人說：‘請來吧！樣樣都準備好了。’
		[asv]	and he sent forth his servant at supper time to say to them that were bidden, Come; for [all] things are now ready.
		[kjv]	And sent his servant at supper time to say to them that were bidden, Come; for all things are now ready.
		[bbe]	And when the time had come, he sent his servants to say to them, Come, for all things are now ready.
	14:18	[hb5]	眾人一口同音的推辭。頭一個說、我買了一塊地、必須去看看．請你准我辭了。
		[lb5]	大家就一樣地推辭。頭一個對他說︰『我買了一塊田地，必須出去看看﹔求你准我辭。』
		[nb5]	眾人一致推辭，頭一個說：‘我買了一塊地，不得不去看一看，請原諒我。’
		[asv]	And they all with one [consent] began to make excuse. The first said unto him, I have bought a field, and I must needs go out and see it; I pray thee have me excused.
		[kjv]	And they all with one consent began to make excuse. The first said unto him, I have bought a piece of ground, and I must needs go and see it: I pray thee have me excused.
		[bbe]	And they all gave reasons why they were not able to come. The first said to him, I have got a new field, and it is necessary for me to go and see it: I am full of regret that I am unable to come.
	14:19	[hb5]	又有一個說、我買了五對牛、要去試一試．請你准我辭了。
		[lb5]	另一個說︰『我買了五對牛，要去試試﹔求你准我辭。』
		[nb5]	另一個說：‘我買了五對牛，要去試一試，請原諒我。’
		[asv]	And another said, I have bought five yoke of oxen, and I go to prove them; I pray thee have me excused.
		[kjv]	And another said, I have bought five yoke of oxen, and I go to prove them: I pray thee have me excused.
		[bbe]	And another said, I have got some cattle, and I am going to make a test of them: I am full of regret that I am unable to come.
	14:20	[hb5]	又有一個說、我才娶了妻、所以不能去。
		[lb5]	又另一個說︰『我剛娶了妻，故此不能去』。
		[nb5]	又一個說：‘我剛結了婚，不能去。’
		[asv]	And another said, I have married a wife, and therefore I cannot come.
		[kjv]	And another said, I have married a wife, and therefore I cannot come.
		[bbe]	And another said, I have been married, and so I am not able to come.
	14:21	[hb5]	那僕人回來、把這事都告訴了主人．家主就動怒、對僕人說、快出去到城裏大街小巷、領那貧窮的、殘廢的、瞎眼的、瘸腿的來。
		[lb5]	那仆人上來，把這些事報告他的主人。于是家主就發怒，對仆人說︰『趕快出去到城里大街小巷里，帶那些討飯的、殘廢的、眼瞎的、瘸腿的、進這里來。』
		[nb5]	僕人回來把這些事告訴他主人，家主就發怒，對僕人說：‘快到城裡大街小巷去，把貧窮的、殘廢的、瞎眼的、瘸腿的，都領到這裡來。’
		[asv]	And the servant came, and told his lord these things. Then the master of the house being angry said to his servant, Go out quickly into the streets and lanes of the city, and bring in hither the poor and maimed and blind and lame.
		[kjv]	So that servant came, and shewed his lord these things. Then the master of the house being angry said to his servant, Go out quickly into the streets and lanes of the city, and bring in hither the poor, and the maimed, and the halt, and the blind.
		[bbe]	And the servant came back and gave his master an account of these things. Then the master of the house was angry and said to the servant, Go out quickly into the streets of the town and get the poor, the blind, and those who are broken in body.
	14:22	[hb5]	僕人說、主阿、你所吩咐的已經辦了、還有空座。
		[lb5]	那仆人說︰『主阿，你所吩咐的已經辦了，還有位子呢。』
		[nb5]	僕人說：‘主啊，你所吩咐的已經辦了，還有空位。’
		[asv]	And the servant said, Lord, what thou didst command is done, and yet there is room.
		[kjv]	And the servant said, Lord, it is done as thou hast commanded, and yet there is room.
		[bbe]	And the servant said, Lord, your orders have been done, and still there is room.
	14:23	[hb5]	主人對僕人說、你出去到路上和籬笆那裏、勉強人進來、坐滿我的屋子。
		[lb5]	主人就對那仆人說︰『你出去到大路上和籬笆那里，勉強人進來，使我的屋子都滿了人。
		[nb5]	主人就對僕人說：‘你出去到路邊籬畔，勉強人進來，好把我的屋子坐滿
		[asv]	And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and constrain [them] to come in, that my house may be filled.
		[kjv]	And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.
		[bbe]	And the lord said to the servant, Go out into the roads and the fields, and make them come in, so that my house may be full.
	14:24	[hb5]	我告訴你們、先前所請的人、沒有一個得嘗我的筵席。
		[lb5]	我告訴你們，剛才被請的人必沒有一個得以嘗到我的筵席。』」
		[nb5]	我告訴你們，先前請的那些人，一個也不得嘗我的筵席。’”
		[asv]	For I say unto you, that none of those men that were bidden shall taste of my supper.
		[kjv]	For I say unto you, That none of those men which were bidden shall taste of my supper.
		[bbe]	For I say to you that not one of those who were requested to come will have a taste of my feast.
	14:25	[hb5]	有極多的人和耶穌同行．他轉過來對他們說、

	14:26	[hb5]	人到我這裏來、若不愛我勝過愛自己的父母、妻子、兒女、弟兄、姐妹和自己的性命、就不能作我的門徒。〔愛我勝過愛原文作恨〕
		[lb5]	「人來找我，除非少愛（同詞︰恨惡）自己的父親、母親、妻子、弟兄、姐妹、甚至于自己的性命、就不能做我的門徒。
		[nb5]	“如果有人到我這裡來，愛我不超過愛（“愛我不超過愛”原文作“不恨”）自己的父母、妻子、兒女、兄弟、姊妹，甚至自己的性命，就不能作我的門徒。
		[asv]	If any man cometh unto me, and hateth not his own father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.
		[kjv]	If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.
		[bbe]	And turning round, he said to them, If any man comes to me, and has not hate for his father and mother and wife and children and brothers and sisters, and even for his life, he may not be my disciple.
	14:27	[hb5]	凡不背著自己十字架跟從我的、也不能作我的門徒。
		[lb5]	凡不背著自己的十字架來跟著我的，不能做我的門徒。
		[nb5]	凡不背著自己的十字架跟隨我的，也不能作我的門徒。
		[asv]	Whosoever doth not bear his own cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple.

	14:28	[hb5]	你們那一個要蓋一座樓、不先坐下算計花費、能蓋成不能呢。
		[lb5]	你們中間誰想要建造守望樓，不先坐下，計算費用，有沒有作完竣的把握呢？
		[nb5]	你們當中有誰要蓋一座樓，不先坐下計算費用，能不能蓋成呢？
		[asv]	For which of you, desiring to build a tower, doth not first sit down and count the cost, whether he have [wherewith] to complete it?
		[kjv]	For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it?
		[bbe]	For which of you, desiring to put up a tower, does not first give much thought to the price, if he will have enough to make it complete?
	14:29	[hb5]	恐怕安了地基、不能成功、看見的人都笑話他、
		[lb5]	恐怕他立好了根基，竟不能造成，看的人就會譏誚起來，
		[nb5]	恐怕安了地基，而不能完成，所有看見的人都譏笑他，
		[asv]	Lest haply, when he hath laid a foundation, and is not able to finish, all that behold begin to mock him,
		[kjv]	Lest haply, after he hath laid the foundation, and is not able to finish it, all that behold it begin to mock him,
		[bbe]	For fear that if he makes a start and is not able to go on with it to the end, all who see it will be laughing at him,
	14:30	[hb5]	說、這個人開了工、卻不能完工。
		[lb5]	說︰『這個人開始建造，卻不能造成！』
		[nb5]	說：‘這個人開了工，卻不能完工。’
		[asv]	saying, This man began to build, and was not able to finish.
		[kjv]	Saying, This man began to build, and was not able to finish.
		[bbe]	And saying, This man made a start at building and is not able to make it complete.
	14:31	[hb5]	或是一個王、出去和別的王打仗、豈不先坐下酌量、能用一萬兵、去敵那領二萬兵來攻打他的麼。
		[lb5]	就是哪一個王要去同別的王交戰，豈不先坐下計議，能不能用一萬人去敵那領二萬來攻打他的呢？
		[nb5]	或者一個王去和別的王打仗，哪有不先坐下想想，能否用一萬兵去抵抗那領兩萬來攻打他的呢？
		[asv]	Or what king, as he goeth to encounter another king in war, will not sit down first and take counsel whether he is able with ten thousand to meet him that cometh against him with twenty thousand?
		[kjv]	Or what king, going to make war against another king, sitteth not down first, and consulteth whether he be able with ten thousand to meet him that cometh against him with twenty thousand?
		[bbe]	Or what king, going to war with another king, will not first take thought if he will be strong enough, with ten thousand men, to keep off him who comes against him with twenty thousand?
	14:32	[hb5]	若是不能、就趁敵人還遠的時候、派使者去求和息的條款。
		[lb5]	若是不能，就該趁他還離得遠的時候，差遣公使去求和平的條款。
		[nb5]	如果不能，就該趁對方還遠的時候，派使者去談判和平的條件。
		[asv]	Or else, while the other is yet a great way off, he sendeth an ambassage, and asketh conditions of peace.
		[kjv]	Or else, while the other is yet a great way off, he sendeth an ambassage, and desireth conditions of peace.
		[bbe]	Or while the other is still a great distance away, he sends representatives requesting conditions of peace.
