39:1 | [hb5] | 〔 大 衛 的 詩 、 交 與 伶 長 耶 杜 頓 。 〕 我 曾 說 、 我 要 謹 慎 我 的 言 行 、 免 得 我 舌 頭 犯 罪 . 惡 人 在 我 面 前 的 時 候 、 我 要 用 嚼 環 勒 住 我 的 口 。 |
[kjv] | I said, I will take heed to my ways, that I sin not with my tongue: I will keep my mouth with a bridle, while the wicked is before me. | |
[bbe] | <To the chief music-maker. Of Jeduthun. A Psalm. Of David.> I said, I will give attention to my ways, so that my tongue may do no wrong; I will keep my mouth under control, while the sinner is before me. | |
39:2 | [hb5] | 我 默 然 無 聲 、 連 好 話 也 不 出 口 . 我 的 愁 苦 就 發 動 了 。 |
[kjv] | I was dumb with silence, I held my peace, even from good; and my sorrow was stirred. | |
[bbe] | I made no sound, I said no word, even of good; and I was moved with sorrow. | |
39:3 | [hb5] | 我 的 心 在 我 裡 面 發 熱 . 我 默 想 的 時 候 、 火 就 燒 起 、 我 便 用 舌 頭 說 話 . |
[kjv] | My heart was hot within me, while I was musing the fire burned: then spake I with my tongue, | |
[bbe] | My heart was burning in my breast; while I was deep in thought the fire was lighted; then I said with my tongue, | |
39:4 | [hb5] | 耶 和 華 阿 、 求 你 叫 我 曉 得 我 身 之 終 、 我 的 壽 數 幾 何 、 叫 我 知 道 我 的 生 命 不 長 。 |
[kjv] | LORD, make me to know mine end, and the measure of my days, what it is: that I may know how frail I am. | |
[bbe] | Lord, give me knowledge of my end, and of the measure of my days, so that I may see how feeble I am. | |
39:5 | [hb5] | 你 使 我 的 年 日 、 窄 如 手 掌 . 我 一 生 的 年 數 、 在 你 面 前 、 如 同 無 有 . 各 人 最 穩 妥 的 時 候 、 真 是 全 然 虛 幻 。 〔 細 拉 〕 |
[kjv] | Behold, thou hast made my days as an handbreadth; and mine age is as nothing before thee: verily every man at his best state is altogether vanity. Selah. | |
[bbe] | You have made my days no longer than a hand's measure; and my years are nothing in your eyes; truly, every man is but a breath. (Selah.) | |
39:6 | [hb5] | 世 人 行 動 實 係 幻 影 . 他 們 忙 亂 、 真 是 枉 然 . 積 蓄 財 寶 、 不 知 將 來 有 誰 收 取 。 |
[kjv] | Surely every man walketh in a vain shew: surely they are disquieted in vain: he heapeth up riches, and knoweth not who shall gather them. | |
[bbe] | Truly, every man goes on his way like an image; he is troubled for no purpose: he makes a great store of wealth, and has no knowledge of who will get it. | |
39:7 | [hb5] | 主 阿 、 如 今 我 等 甚 麼 呢 . 我 的 指 望 在 乎 你 。 |
[kjv] | And now, Lord, what wait I for? my hope is in thee. | |
[bbe] | And now, Lord, what am I waiting for? my hope is in you. | |
39:8 | [hb5] | 求 你 救 我 脫 離 一 切 的 過 犯 . 不 要 使 我 受 愚 頑 人 的 羞 辱 。 |
[kjv] | Deliver me from all my transgressions: make me not the reproach of the foolish. | |
[bbe] | Make me free from all my sins; do not let me be shamed by the man of evil behaviour. | |
39:9 | [hb5] | 因 我 所 遭 遇 的 是 出 於 你 、 我 就 默 然 不 語 。 |
[kjv] | I was dumb, I opened not my mouth; because thou didst it. | |
[bbe] | I was quiet, and kept my mouth shut; because you had done it. | |
39:10 | [hb5] | 求 你 把 你 的 責 罰 從 我 身 上 免 去 . 因 你 手 的 責 打 、 我 便 消 滅 。 |
[kjv] | Remove thy stroke away from me: I am consumed by the blow of thine hand. | |
[bbe] | No longer let your hand be hard on me; I am wasted by the blows of your hand. | |
39:11 | [hb5] | 你 因 人 的 罪 惡 、 懲 罰 他 的 時 候 、 叫 他 的 笑 容 消 滅 、 〔 的 笑 容 或 作 所 喜 愛 的 〕 如 衣 被 蟲 所 咬 . 世 人 真 是 虛 幻 。 〔 細 拉 〕 |
[kjv] | When thou with rebukes dost correct man for iniquity, thou makest his beauty to consume away like a moth: surely every man is vanity. Selah. | |
[bbe] | By the weight of your wrath against man's sin, the glory of his form is wasted away; truly every man is but a breath. (Selah.) | |
39:12 | [hb5] | 耶 和 華 阿 . 求 你 聽 我 的 禱 告 、 留 心 聽 我 的 呼 求 . 我 流 淚 、 求 你 不 要 靜 默 無 聲 . 因 為 我 在 你 面 前 是 客 旅 、 是 寄 居 的 、 像 我 列 祖 一 般 。 |
[kjv] | Hear my prayer, O LORD, and give ear unto my cry; hold not thy peace at my tears: for I am a stranger with thee, and a sojourner, as all my fathers were. | |
[bbe] | Let my prayer come to your ears, O Lord, and give attention to my cry, make an answer to my weeping: for my time here is short before you, and in a little time I will be gone, like all my fathers. | |
39:13 | [hb5] | 求 你 寬 容 我 、 使 我 在 去 而 不 返 之 先 、 可 以 力 量 復 原 。 |
[kjv] | O spare me, that I may recover strength, before I go hence, and be no more. | |
[bbe] | Let your wrath be turned away from me, so that I may be comforted, before I go away from here, and become nothing. |
